Searching For Inspiration? Try Looking Up Best Robot Vacuum And Mop
The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop ComboThe Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think it's a nice statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving forward.
What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and more info avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
