The IQ's application has advanced mapping and automation features however, it's not able to access no-go zones, which are available on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing system allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is efficient but it could get caught in rug tassels.
In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair with ease, removing an impressive amount of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded in the fibers. It was able to maneuver the legs of a chair, tiny spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a bit slower on bare floors but it quickly recovered and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tried.
The IQ is a better choice than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a larger dustbin, lasts longer on a charge and is more capable of moving itself around obstacles. It also has mopping attachments that are able to tackle sticky messes. On the other side, the iRobot is built better and has fewer parts that require replacement or maintenance and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and creates virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can even resume cleaning from where it left off in case it has run out of battery before finishing the job. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is a major benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S robot vacuum isn't one of the most features-rich models, but it provides powerful cleaning power at affordable prices. It's designed for budget-conscious buyers who don't require a complex mapping system or app to control the device. This robot can last for up to an hour. The BoostIQ mode is another great feature of the Eufy11S. It allows you to set up the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based upon the type of floor and the level of mess. It's also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S where you want it to move.
If you don't have much furniture in the area you'd like to vacuum Single Room Mode is an excellent option. The eufy can spend 30 minutes intensely cleaning the area it is assigned to.
